Beneficiaries who are visibly happy bare their hearts regarding the unbelievable life-changing gesture from the lawmaker.

The multi- million naira grant was particularly seen and appraised by folks as unprecedented, the sum involved being substantial, and the effort the first of its kind in the history of Representation in the constituency.

“The time was short for someone who had represented us for barely one year and the period was unusual because of Covid, but he pulled it through”, one beneficiary reasoned.

Another, Hon. Emma Nnamani popularly known as Emma Oyoyo, said the grant came in handy, and has been yielding dividends for his household. ” It was like magic; gave us a major lifeline, and particularly, came at right time and unexpected ” Oyoyo continued. “Leader, Hon. Ofor Chukwuegbo, makes difficult things look easy, but of course, it does not surprise me because he is who he is- the quintessential go- getter! We always knew he was special in several respects”.

On how he managed to pull through with the grant in such a short time,in unusual period, in the face of competing interests across the country,Hon. Chukwuegbo was, as usual, modest in appreciating his own efforts.

” To God be the Glory, for the little we have managed to do”, he began. “But I think the secret is putting the people first; thinking out of the box and being able and willing to interface and coordinate with all manner of relevant persons and agencies that share our mission and vision”.

” I suppose I am not in Abuja to sit idly by and take a pay without thinking home; we have obligation to alleviate the situation of our people at home, covid or no covid”.

He urged those who are yet to benefit from all the palliatives he has done so far to be patient and hopeful, as he would continue to seek more and better opportunities to reach all and sundry.

Hon. Chukwuegbo also enjoined beneficiaries to invest wisely so that the benefit of the grant could trickle down in multiplier effects, and ultimately, be a blessing to all.
